Missiongathering Charlotte

Proud. Bold. Unstoppable.

We are a faith community for the bold and the beautiful, the seekers and the skeptics, the ones who still believe love can change everything.
At Missiongathering Charlotte, we are proud of who we are and who God made us to be — creative, curious, and compassion-driven.
We are bold in our faith, daring to build a church where everyone truly belongs.
And we are unstoppable in the work of justice, healing, and joy for our city.

A Church for the Rest of Us

Here, faith isn’t about fitting in — it’s about being fully human.
We are a Progressive, Inclusive, and Anti-Racist Christian community within the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ).
Our vision is to be a space for healing, authentic relationships, and service to Charlotte.
We believe the Gospel is less about dogma and more about the way of Jesus — love that welcomes, liberates, and transforms.

Inclusive. Affirming. Celebratory.

You don’t have to hide who you are to follow Jesus.
At Missiongathering, LGBTQ+ people, people of color, women, and persons with disabilities aren’t just welcomed — they lead, preach, sing, and shape the story we’re writing together.
We practice an open table every Sunday: no gatekeeping, no prerequisites, just grace.

“Come as you are. Stay as you grow. Lead as you are called.”
