Sanctuaries are Missiongathering’s spiritual formation groups.

At Missiongathering, we believe that intentional community is vital to our growth as people and as Christ-followers. Sanctuaries are our small groups that meet on a weekly basis to allow for intentional community, relationships, and growth to take place. We have a group for people like you! Check out the groups and contact the Sanctuary leader to be a part of that Sanctuary. It takes time to build community, so give it a shot!

If you have any other questions, email sanctuaries@missiongathering.com

Un-filtered is a sanctuary designed for those looking for an open-minded forum to give, receive and understand opinions on the human search for truth in God and what it means to have a faith in Christ. While the group will be generally focused upon what faith in Christ really means and how it relates to us as individual “believers”, we will readily seek to incorporate literature and scripture from diverse sources including orthodox and unorthodox Christian, secular, scholarly, and other world religions. Topics will include the historical development of religion and Christianity in particular, the relationship between science, psychology and faith/scripture, the possibility of syncretism with other religions, and the general nature of mankind’s relationship with God.

While homosexuality is the common ground for the group, it will not be the sole focus of discussion. It will be a mix of discussion and book club with readings, conversation, and laughter.
